Slap Dee is still in mourning after his close friend and music industry partner David Phiri aka Daev tragically died in a car crash last month...

Daev, alongside three other friends were killed after the car they were travelling in cost control and capsized over an embankment.

According to reports, the accident was caused by drunken driving.

Slap - who has been vocal about his grief - took to Instagram to share a fitting tribute to friend, whom he claimed is "singing with angels in heaven"

He wrote in a post alongside a clip of his collab Lituation with Daev; "My young shooter is sleeping now. Gone to sing with the angels in heaven. I honestly have a lot questions for God right now. Why Daev? Such a young humble boy with so much talent and love to share.

"Why now? Couldn’t he have waited a little? Sleep my shooter, sleep now. Save me a place right next yours and PJs. XYZ forever"

But despite his broken heart, Slap has claimed he would remain strong for his friend.

He wrote in a separate post; "We remain strong and committed to creating the best versions of ourselves. Otherwise, 2020 has been somewhat hell!"

Following Daev's death, Slap Dee slammed Lusako minister Bowman Lusambo who claimed the incident was a result of the rapper's "carelessness".

Slap hit back saying; "“Too soon Mr. Minister…too soon. That’s all I can say. Relax your tongue sir. One day your words will bite you."
