His longtime friend and industry colleague, Roberto wished him a birthday and expressed his admiration for him.
"Happy Birthday to this incredible young gentleman. I've had the pleasure of seeing his career and personality develop. God keep enriching you with vast knowledge and brilliance. Happy Birthday B Flow"
His birth name is Brian Mumba Kasoka Bwembya and he was born in a Zambian town called Kabwe. B'Flow was raised by his mother and grandmother Matilda Chiti-Byrne and his mother Mirriam Mulenga Mumba Byrne who was a policewoman. His father Mathews "Mizzy" Kasoka was a football coach for Kabwe Warriors football club.
"I was raised by my mother, a single mother, and I've seen the challenges she went through to get me to where I am, for her to raise me and my siblings,"
B'Flow's grandmother is the one who taught him how to read and write English as she was a professional teacher. The music industry is such a cut-throat industry and sometimes, the people that you trust may be the one that let you down. B'Flow was privileged enough to have a friend like Macky 2 who's stood by him all the time and he did not shy away from showing his appreciation for his friend.
"As I grow older, I realise that happiness does not come by merely having a big number of friends. It comes by having friends that add value to your life. In the music business, most people focus on the competition and accolades. Therefore, it is hard to use the word "friend" when referring to most colleagues because some people are just our acquaintances or workmates or business associates. But this guy right here is MY FRIEND! Join me in celebrating Mark Mulaza Kaira A.K.A Macky 2, one of the few people I can proudly call my friend. HAPPY BELATED BIRTHDAY MR KAIRA. I love you bro #B4L"
B'Flow is the first musician to have launched an album at the United States embassy an event that was sponsored by the US government. B Flow also took a new direction with his music, changing his genre to what is now known as “KaliDanceHall”. it is a mixture of traditional Zambian Kalindula music and Dance Hall. B'Flow was also the first artist in the world to be endorsed bu a US President, Barack Obama.
