Kantu Controversy

Zambian diva was rushed to the hospital one evening and were some of the residents of Jesmondine of Great East Road near Teba Medical Centre in Lusaka identified Kantu, coming from Shoprite where she had gone to buy groceries and before she got into the car, she collapsed and fell down.

Luckily, a few good samaritans who identified her rushed her to the nearby medical centre for first aid. Reaching the medical centre, Kantu’s heart was not beating normally and doctors confirmed to ZambianMusic.Net that her blood pressure was extremely low. Doctors ran tests on Kantu and later released a statement informing the public that the Koneki and Mungeli hitmaker, had taken Arsenic poison through a soft drink.

Almost 4 hours, Kantu later gained consciousness and was asked by the doctors what she ingested last.  It was later confirmed, that Kantu had been sweating excessively earlier before she collapsed.

Doctors briefed her about what had happened to her and later she said that, she last drunk sodas while she was at a house party with some of her friends. The doctors then told her that she was given a soda mixed with poison. She could have died on spot if she had not been rushed to the medical clinic.
