Born in 1998 in Kafue, Patson Daka is a Zambian professional football player who at only 23 years, is living the dream of every young Zambian boy and he has a very promising career.

While it is clear that the young football star clearly has a taste for big machines, he is not one to flaunt his success online and it’s not clear what cars he drives.

He was however seen driving a sleek Mercedes Benz in August 2021 shortly after winning the Community Shield with Leicester.

In addition to his own expensive drives, Patson Daka also recently bought his mother a new car during her birthday. Sharing a photo of herself with her mother next to the brand new car, Patson Daka shared a sweet message appreciating her for giving him life, advice, support and laughs.

Patson Daka was born 23 years ago to Nathtali and Josephine Daka in Kafue, a town in the Lusaka Province of Zambia. 

The young star’s love for the game was inspired by his father who was a professional footballer and played for Kafue-based FC called Nitrogen Stars. Unfortunately, Daka’s father died in a tragic car accident when Patson was still young.

At the age of 12 years, Patson Daka kickstarted his career at Kafue Celtic FC. Thanks to his natural born skills with the ball, Patson Daka rapidly rose through the club’s division and when he was 15, he featured in Kafue Celtic’s first team and the following year he was loaned out to Nchanga Rangers.

In 2014, Patson Daka helped his team to win the 2014 Zambia Super League and he also won the club’s Young player of the year.

He was loaned to Power Dynamos FC and although he had a rough start, he finished as the league’s top scorer in the next season.

In 2016, Daka made his debut at the COSAFA U20 Cup where he helped Zambia win. His performance helped him gain both local and international recognition  and was also awarded the the 2016 Zambia Super League Young player of the year.

The following year, Patson Daka was signed by Austria’s Red Bull Salzburg where he helped the club win the UEFA Youth League after scoring two goals in two games. He was named Austrian Bundesliga player of the season in May 2021 after scoring 27 goals in 28 games and helping the club win its fourth successive league title.

Daka was signed to Leicester City on 30th June 2021 for £23 million on a five-year contract and he is already shining.
