Prince Kaybee Becomes The First African Artist On Time Magazine

Prince Kaybee's hit single Uwrongo has landed him on Time Magazine's top 10 best songs of 2020! The song sits comfortably at number nine and it features Shimza, Black Motion and vocalist Ami Faku. Prince Kaybee is the first African artist to be featured on the list.

Uwrongo is one of Prince Kaybee's best collaborations and many have described the song as a masterpiece because each of the three artists different sounds are evident in the song. Making it unique! The music video currently has over 3 million views on YouTube and over 30K likes. According to Music In Africa, the song also reached big Gold status just two months after it's release in January 30. 

His bae Zola Zeelovin even congratulated him:

This year alone has been a very bright year for the DJ, but following the announcement made by entertainment commentator Phil Mphela, Prince does not wish to received such nods.

This achievement alone does not sit well with Prince Kaybee who feels someone else should have been given the accolade instead of him. The Hosh hitmaker says people from his home country South Africa, do not celebrate him enough, seeing how Time Magazine gave him the very big stamp of approval.
