Zambian musicians are some of the most successful in the country's entertainment industry and with this list, we dissect the best and richest singers in all of Zambia.

So who made it onto the list?

1. Macky 2


Macky 2

Macky 2 is a Zambian hip hop musician, singer, and producer and he is known for participating in the ninth season of Big Brother Africa, where he placed third in the competition.

Macky 2 is from Luanshya in Zambia and runs the Macky II Hope Foundation, which supports orphans and vulnerable children.

2. Salma Sky

Popularly known as Akapilipili (Hot Chick) is Zambia’s talented Artist who is making Airwaves in the Country. She is not only beautiful but also a very good and talented singer.

Married to Tivo the son of a highly respected Lieutenant General, Ronnie Shikapwasha, it would seem that Salma Sky is definitely well-off.

3. Jay Rox

Chef 187 owns numerous deals with multinational companies like Coca-Cola, Vodafone, MTN etc.

Not to mention, Chef 187 is among the most hired local musicians. He attends at least 50 shows in a year. Collects, no less than 11,000 for stage performances and that excludes transport and lodging.

Cleo also earns major kwasha from endorsement deals with companies like DSTV, MTN, Pepsi and more. The Organized Family make a good amount of money for a show, an estimated 15, 000 Kwasha. Their stage performances, excluding accommodation plus transportation charges, are charged separately amounting to about K3000.

Most shows done by the duo group are international, where they make about k20,000, plus a huge sum of their money is received from Hakainde Hichilema during the campaign period.

And 600,00 from the United Party for National Development (UPND). The group also has endorsements with Zambian communication networks like Zamtel and MTN Zambia where they receive at least a minimum of k150, 000 per month.

Roberto is one of Zambia’s richest top international artists loved in most African countries, including Nigeria, Ghana and Namibia. Namibia is also where he got paid an estimated 250,000 for a guest appearance at the Namibian Awards ceremony. YouTube has also paid him an estimated k180,200 after Amarula hit a thousand views on their service. Roberto also has endorsements paying him about k350,000 per year.
